Logitech has introduced two wireless presenters for professionals, the Logitech Professional Presenter R800 and the Logitech Wireless Presenter R400.
According to the company, both presenters feature laser pointing, wireless capability, and intuitive slideshow controls, and are plug-and-play and require no software downloads.
“When you give a presentation you want to engage with your audience, not the technology. The R800 and R400 presenters eliminate the need to run back and forth to your computer or interrupt your presentation to tell a colleague to go to the next slide,” says Romain du Gardier, sales and marketing manager for Logitech SA.
The Logitech Professional Presenter R800 provides a timer on a small LCD screen with silent, vibrating alerts when the speaker has five, two and zero minutes left to present. The wireless range of the R800 is 30 meters, but a reception-level indicator will tell the user when they move too far away, the company says.
The Logitech Wireless Presenter R400 is for smaller meeting rooms, according to Logitech, and has a red laser pointer that is easy to see against most backgrounds, featuring a battery power indicator and a range of up to 15 meters.
The R800 and R400 presenters are expected to be available in SA in November for a suggested retail price of R899 and R699 respectively.
