Keops Altech, the leading provider of manufacturing execution and control systems to the South African processing industry and a well-established integrator of multi-level industrial information systems, has with immediate effect changed its name to Altech Informatics.
The holding company of Keops Altech, the multibillion-rand JSE-listed Altech, recently acquired the full share capital of Keops Altech from long time Canadian partner, Keops Technologies, which in turn facilitated the integration of certain of the Altech Information Technology assets.
Keops Altech, with its excellent delivery record, ISO 9001:2000 accreditation and consistent financial results, has been chosen as the vehicle to lead this process and recently announced the integration of the Isis SAP and contracting businesses.
After careful consideration it was decided to create a new brand and image to exploit the successful Altech brand, with a specific focus on providing world-class IT solutions to the mining and manufacturing sectors in SA, as well as pursuing focused opportunities in the public sector.
Altech Informatics provides a full complement of services, including operations and strategic IT consulting, full lifecycle industrial IT projects, including process automation and control, manufacturing execution systems, enterprise resource planning, supply chain management, as well as application outsourcing and support. Altech Informatics has a unique value proposition to existing and prospective clients in that it can offer integrated industrial IT solutions on a turn-key basis as well as managed services enabling it to become a one-stop solution provider for its clients.
Managing Director of Keops Altech, Pieter Theron, said the offering was in line with national and international trends and that customers were extremely positive.
