Keops Isis and CSIR form strategic alliance

Leading Operations Management Systems solutions provider, Keops Isis Industrial Information Systems (Keops Isis), part of the JSE-listed Altech group, is in the process of a strategic business alliance with the CSIR`s Manufacturing and Materials Technology business unit to partner in joint business opportunities.

This was confirmed by Business Development Manager Mr Richard Bean of the Competitiveness Improvement Centre at the CSIR, who said that a core focus of the Centre is the provision of change management solutions that optimise software implementations. "We believe that our complementary strengths in this area will enable us to provide better solutions for our clients."

Mr Andre Brits, Business Development Manager at Keops Isis, said the strategic alliance with the CSIR is ^3art of this company`s partnership drive.

"These days synergistic business alliances are becoming more important as business solution demands become more complex. In terms of this agreement we will act as an IT solutions provider when our partner facilitates a performance improvement project at a client company. We aim to offer the marketplace best-of-breed solutions and are looking to expand on our market segments."

With its headquarters in Centurion, Keops Isis is active in South Africa and boasts large clients in the metals, minerals, and petrochemical industries.

The CSIR`s Manufacturing and Materials Technology business unit was established on 1 April 2000 to provide the manufacturing and materials industry with integrated solutions, combining technology with improved business processes and the required skills and capabilities.
