KeyLogistics, a subsidiary of KeyTools, has restructured its Mobile Software Distribution model to focus on specific South African vertical markets in conjunction with its value-added reseller (VAR) partners.
The products being offered within this structure include KeyGold for GoldMine 5.0, KeyGold for GoldMine FrontOffice 2000, Global Order and MobiScan from KeyTools; GoldMine 5.0 from FrontRange Solutions, the Intellisync range, Mind-it, Browse-it, Sync-it and Satellite Forms from Pumatech; and Quickoffice from Cutting Edge Software.
VARs are being partnered for specific verticals with appropriate products and in identified geographical areas, in order to ensure that the integrity within the marketplace is maintained, and that there is minimal overlap between the different organisations involved. It is not intended that there will be a cost to becoming such a VAR.
"We have received significant support for the above approach, and have already have in place appropriate agreements with Agnito, Commerce Switch, Future Trends, I-Fusion, Interactive Electronics, Kathea, KeySure, MTN, Panasonic, Pegasus Mpower, PTBE-Business Solutions, Polygon, Pro-Formance Group and The Network Element," commented Sean Staley, General Manager of KeyLogistics.
KeyLogistics will also continue to be a distributor for hardware from Compaq, Handspring, Palm and Symbol Technologies.
