Konica Minolta Printing Solutions Europe has introduced its full magicolor 2500 range of colour laser printers.

Designed for the office professional or small workgroups, it brings even greater versatility, ease of use and quiet operation without compromising the series' familiar compact dimensions.

The magicolor 2500 series printers are designed for the desktop, providing additional convenience and privacy. Front access to long lasting, pre-installed consumables allow for infrequent maintenance. Furthermore, a status display screen and device embedded Web page give a complete overview of important printer information, for example, consumable and print job status, directly from the PC. Also, PageScope administration tools provide an easy way to manage and configure the printer environment.

With 5ppm in colour and 20ppm in monochrome, the magicolor 2500 series delivers high quality prints at top speed. Thanks to heavy paper support of up to 200 grams, businesses have the added flexibility of printing a wide range of professional documents and marketing materials from mailshots and brochures to presentations. This not only allows users to print material on-demand, but they can benefit from the vast cost savings by having the option of printing professional quality material in-house.

Due to the pioneering technology of Simitri polymerised toner combined with high resolution, the magicolor 2500 series provides ultra sharp print outs with the finest of gradients even on course media. This specially formulated toner yields more vibrant prints with crisp text and images. Enhanced Automatic Image Density Control (eAIDC) automatically calibrates the printer for consistent, accurate colour from the first page to the last, while built-in ICC-based colour matching provides automatic controls for precise colour correction of print files.

It utilises 600 x 600 dpi x 4-bit Photo ART contone technology to deliver razor sharp prints in stunning colour. Through the power of the renowned Emperon controller, the magicolor 2550 prints from virtually any application or operating system in a networked environment. Additionally, its 300MHZ page processor and standard 128MB RAM enables it to speed through heavy print jobs in no time. To meet growing workgroup printing requirements, the printer includes various options such as a duplexer and lower feeder to increase paper input capacity of up to 700 sheets.

Ideal for small workgroups, the magicolor 2530DL brings high performance printing with added versatility. It comes with standard network, so small workgroups with multiple operating systems will benefit from the option to print from a broad range of applications including Windows, Mac and Linux.

High processing power coupled with a 64MB standard memory configuration makes it easy for the magicolor 2530DL to handle even the most complex print jobs. Thanks to its 2 400 x 600dpi resolution, it produces ultra sharp prints with gradients in vivid colour. The added feature of PictBridge technology enables users to edit and print photos directly from their camera.
