Bidvest company, Konica Minolta South Africa's Mike Mthombeni has scooped the honour of top sales performer across the entire African and Middle Eastern region for the second consecutive year, in Konica Minolta Business Technologies Japan's annual Colour Champions League incentive.
Mthombeni will soon be jetting off to Japan to receive his award, which he secured through his tireless promotion of the Konica Minolta colour bizhub product range.
Says Konica Minolta South Africa MD, Alan Griffith: “We are particularly proud of Mike's dedication and feel that by winning this award for two years running, he has shown that Konica Minolta South Africa is a force to be reckoned with.”
According to Mthombeni, the fact that he won twice in a row is just “serendipity” and was unexpected. “It is such an honour to be rewarded for simply doing my job and I am extremely excited to visit Japan,” he says. “Going forward, even more will be expected and I will need to maintain a high standard. But the everyday support from the Konica Minolta South Africa team and managers is phenomenal and makes it easy to achieve good results.”
