Bidvest company, Konica Minolta South Africa, is launching the myFAX network fax server product in South Africa.
Designed to meet the needs of small to mid-sized businesses, myFAX allows users to send and receive faxes from the desktop or browser.
"Many organisations are becoming increasingly knowledgeable, with high expectations for immediate and personalised service and support," explains Mohammed Vachiat, product manager at Konica Minolta South Africa.
"Expectations are rising and yet organisations are under pressure to do more with the same or fewer resources.
"The myFAX solution can assist in finding new ways to optimise operational efficiency in order to improve productivity and reduce costs," he says. "It allows users to receive faxes as e-mails and send faxes from any application that can print. myFAX also provides secure and convenient faxing for users, offering a high degree of privacy for both the sender and the recipient."
The solution is a compact interface, which operates independently and is easy to use, it also saves time and costs, which in turn improves work efficiency. It caters for multi-line support where equipment models, with a variety of selections, help adapt to different types of customers. Users can share faxes and files with LAN or even Internet.
"The myFAX server eliminates the problems of traditional fax machines by allowing you to send and receive faxes from your desktop," states Vachiat.
"It eradicates the use of paper while faxing, reduces the costs of toner and paper, provides maximum storage capacity and simplifies fax management."
