Konica Minolta South Africa remains number one SA colour MFD supplier

Johannesburg, 29 Jun 2010

Bidvest company, Konica Minolta South Africa, continues to reign supreme, garnering the title of the favourite South African supplier of colour multifunctional devices (MFDs) for the ninth consecutive year.

This is according to figures recently released in an industry sales survey, undertaken by market data specialist infoSource, looking at the local print/copy/scan industry for the 2009 period.

Founded in May 1985, infoSource has grown at a steady pace to become the reference company in office automation and telecommunication market sizing data in West and East Europe, as well as in the Middle East and Africa. All reported data is based on factual information obtained through extensive face-to-face field research, involving the active co-operation of top-level professional industry managers.

Says Marianna Gdanis, business unit manager at Konica Minolta South Africa: “With our revolutionary range of bizhub colour MFDs, available for small, medium and large businesses, as well as the production sector, we are very proud to announce that Konica Minolta South Africa has continued its legacy by leading the local colour sector, with 25.7% of the market.

“We believe that our colour division is at the forefront of one of the most exciting growth areas in the industry and that our success can be largely attributed to the fact that Konica Minolta's bizhub digital colour devices consistently receive international awards and acclaim,” she adds.
