KPN outsources services

LogicaCMG has entered into a 40 million euro contract with KPN, a telecommunications services provider in the Netherlands, to KPN's HR shared service centre (SSC), reports CBR Online.

LogicaCMG will support the HR call centre, the supporting HR information systems and the personnel and payroll administration for 17 000 employees at KPN.

According to LogicaCMG, 60 HR experts from KPN's SSC recently joined LogicaCMG. KPN has centralised all personnel administration in its HR SSC.

Sports council upgrades software

The Sports Council for Wales has upgraded its software from HR systems supplier, Snowdrop, reports OnlineRecruitment.

The Sports Council for Wales will upgrade its Spring (recruitment); Evergreen (personnel records management); Fountain (training administration) and U-Access (online access for line managers and employees) modules to Snowdrop version 5.3.

These changes will enable all staff to request leave and training and development online, reducing administration time.

JRF acquires software

The Jordan River Foundation (JRF) has acquired the new MenaITech software system that manages information and reduces the costs of operating an HR solution, says TradeArabia.

MenaITech is the first software company in the Arab region specialised in the development and of HR solutions to public and private companies.

MenaITech was founded in 2003 by a group of HR and IT professionals, and aims at providing HR solutions that maximise the return on the human capital investment for all its customers.
