Krone passes the Fluke Networks test

Johannesburg, 17 Apr 2003

Krone`s K8 and KM8 Category 6 jacks are among the first to be tested perfectly with Fluke Networks` new Cat 6 component compliant personality module - the DS PM25.

Prior to the launch of this new module, different `manufactured tuned` personality modules were the norm and to-date the majority of Cat 6 manufacturers are still having to use these.

The ability to test with the new personality module, which is fully component compliant with both ISO/IEC and TIA/EIA standards, is in itself a strong indication of true interoperability.

Krone now recommends that K8 and KM8 installations are tested using the PM25 module, if Fluke Networks` testers are used, as this gives installers and end-users a test that indicates interoperability as well as channel performance.
