CS Holdings reports that the Omega Management Group has presented Kronos, a provider of frontline labour management solutions, with the Omega NorthFace ScoreBoard Award. CS Holdings is the sole distributor of Kronos in sub-Saharan Africa.
According to Carl Blake, director of Frontline Management Systems for CS Holdings, Kronos has received this award from Omega for the second consecutive year, since Kronos demonstrates an unwavering commitment to service excellence resulting in high customer satisfaction and retention ratings.
To be considered for the NorthFace ScoreBoard Award, a contending company`s senior management must make a commitment to exceed customer expectations; implement a customer satisfaction program which identifies and corrects customer problems; measure customer satisfaction levels; and achieve an overall score of 4.0, or better, out of a possible 5.0, for a full year. More than 80 companies, representing over 300 projects, were in the running for this year`s award. Kronos is one of only five companies that have received the award for two consecutive years.
"Receiving recognition for our focus on delivering the best technical support in the labor management technology sector is very gratifying," comments Kronos` vice president of service Joe DeMartino. "Receipt of an award, based on direct feedback from our customers, is a strong testament to our commitment to service excellence."
Kronos chief executive officer Mark S Ain explains: "Many years ago, we created a corporate mission statement which set a standard of creating products and services that `exceed the expectations of our customers`. Receiving this award for the second year in a row is almost unprecedented. It is the result of a corporate philosophy and a lot of hard work by many dedicated people."
According to Blake, ``providing the features and user interface people want is only part of being successful in the business of frontline labour management. Basically, when dealing with frontline labour management you are dealing with an employee`s pay and concomitant conditions of employment - often with a wide range of personal, environmental and business factors also playing a role - and it is imperative to get the pay rules right. In addition the software for labour management needs to be user-friendly and able to accommodate businesses` integration into e-business systems. As the sole distributor of Kronos frontline labour management products in sub-Saharan Africa, we`ve seen many companies battle with this problem and get blown away by its complexity,`` continues Blake, "but Kronos provides an effective business solution for a very expensive and valuable resource - the workforce."
Winning this award has greater significance as Kronos prepares to enter the HR/Payroll software application business. "Success in the HR/Payroll business is heavily dependent upon customer satisfaction. We are a strong company with the resources and skills necessary to be successful in our core business and in the HR/Payroll space for many years to come," concludes Ain.
