Johannesburg, 24 Jan 2008

Kyocera Mita has entered into an agreement with Microsoft Corporation for the Microsoft Windows Rally programme. Taking advantage of this technology, Kyocera Mita will launch a series of printers and digital multifunctional products (MFPs) featuring advanced connectivity with Windows Vista.

The Windows Rally programme is one of the technical programmes offered by Microsoft since Windows Vista has been launched.

Technologies, which are provided under this programme, enhance printers and digital MFPs to easily establish a reliable and highly secured connection with PCs running Windows Vista in a network environment.

It also elevates users' convenience by enabling them to check the status of network connected printers and digital MFPs.

Kyocera Mita, with the Windows Rally programme, will enhance the connectivity of its product with Windows through the development of printers and digital MFPs.
