Talks between Labat Africa and Square One Solutions are continuing. The groups issued a joint further cautionary notice this morning, saying that negotiations first announced towards the end of last year, are still under way.
Labat has been active on the deal front recently, with the group also hoping to buy Altech`s Africard business.
The Africard purchase depends on the outcome of a Competition Tribunal hearing into Altech`s merger with NamITech.
The tribunal`s hearings were to end last Friday and the companies are awaiting a decision.
The details of the discussions with Square One have not been disclosed.
