D-Link, supplier of networking products, has announced that LAN Design is to become its second distributor, following the appointment of One Technology Group earlier this year.
Bertus Moller, D-Link country manager, says his company`s main focus is service and channel commitment.
"We are convinced that the appointment of LAN Design is a step in the right direction to offer dealers the freedom of choice when deciding where to buy our product," says Moller.
D-Link is committed to its resellers and will keep its number of distributors to a minimum.
"We believe that quality of service does not lie in the quantity of distributors, but rather in our attention to detail and the time we invest in the channel. That is why we offer a full set of course material and hands-on training provided by a certified D-Link instructor. IT professionals will also get the opportunity to qualify as certified D-Link instructors in South Africa."
According to George Smalberger, managing director of LAN Design, this new distributorship has opened new possibilities for LAN Design.
"Our fundamental aim is to establish the brand even more strongly in South Africa and we also look forward to gain market share for the range in the near future," he adds.
