LAN Design, a subsidiary of MB Technologies, has been named Computer Associates` (CA) Distributor of the Year. The presentation was made at Computer Associates` Annual Channel awards, a glittering event held at the company`s Sunninghill head office recently.
"This is the first time we have included a Distributor of the Year among our channel awards," says CA marketing manager Anka Robottom. "Of all our distributors, LAN Design emerged as the highest revenue earner during the 2000 fiscal year."
"We are extremely honoured to be the first recipients of this award," says LAN Design product manager Neill Rosenthal. "Being named Distributor of the Year confirms our sale team`s commitment to providing our customers with the best information and service at all times."
Guest speakers at the occasion included Steven Garcia, CA International regional vice-president: indirect sales, and Springbok rugby player Hennie le Roux.
