Oracle Corp Chairman and CEO, Larry Ellison, has been selected as one of the Top 25 Executives "re-inventing the high-tech industry" by Computer Reseller News (CRN).
CRN dubbed Ellison "The Marathon Man` credited with running, "a marathon race, steering the company on what at times seemed an unlikely course that would run headlong into the Microsoft juggernaut. Instead he has wound up at the head of the pack..."
Ellison was also recognised for his foresight in understanding the significance of the Internet, and for turning Oracle database software into the underlying platform for e-business. CRN`s annual Top 25 Executives list honours the most influential executives and innovators of the past 12 months.
