Oracle Corporation has announced the latest version of Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB 3i), an open and extensible framework for designing and deploying enterprise data warehouses, data marts and e-business intelligence applications.
As part of Oracle`s data warehousing and business intelligence framework, OWB 3i is designed to help e-businesses keep up with the rapid pace of change by enabling them to quickly and easily update the structure of their data warehouse while maintaining a current and accurate view of their data.
"With the consolidation and data warehouse management capabilities of OWB 3i, customers will be able to maximise operational productivity and respond to rapid business changes and competitive pressures," says Itayi Mandonga, Business Intelligence and Warehouse sales consultant for Oracle SA.

Mandonga says a key benefit the latest version of OWB is the ability for e-businesses to manage change.

OWB3i provides a data warehouse management platform that enables customers to easily extract, transform and load data into Oracle9i Database and efficiently manage all aspects of the data warehouse lifecycle. Moreover, its integration with the Oracle9i Database and Oracle9i Application Server enables customers to reap the benefits of high performance and infinite scalability with a lower total cost of ownership relative to competitors` offerings.
OWB 3i is available immediately in South Africa on all supported platforms at no additional charge as a component of the Oracle Internet Developer Suite.
