Leaf Wireless has announced the imminent arrival of its latest innovation in customer service, and an industry first - the opening of its Lifestyle Stores in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. The stores will enable potential and existing customers to view the full range of Leaf products, receive assistance, service and support for their Pocket PC phones, mobile data cards and other accessories.
Says Quinton Leigh, Managing Director of Leaf Wireless: "Experience has taught us that there is a growing need for destinations where consumers can be educated, supported and served. Currently there is no such thing in the wireless and mobile space and it is our intention to take this opportunity and address the need."
The Lifestyle chain will provide dedicated stores where customers can purchase i-mate Pocket PC phones as well as accessories and a range of complementary wireless and mobile peripherals that address both consumer and corporate needs. In addition, the stores will provide repair and support to those looking for help on how to use their Pocket PC phones.
Leigh adds: "Customer service excellence, and the ability to educate and support customers is vital in the often misunderstood mobile and wireless environment. We are confident that this new initiative will provide service and support scalability which is essential where one has a market that is set to deliver exponential growth."
The Johannesburg branch of the Lifestyle Store will open at the Design Quarter in Fourways during April, as will the Durban branch at La Lucia Mall. The Cape Town branch is expected to open shortly afterwards.
