Lexmark International SA today announced that it has appointed Advanced Consumables Technology (ACT), a member of the MB Technologies group, as a supplies distributor for SA.
"We have changed both our products and supplies distribution strategies for southern Africa so that they are in line with the policies of our international parent," commented Mark Hiller, MD of Lexmark International SA, "and thus, we have been looking to establish relationships with partners that can best serve the needs of our customers. We believe a supplies relationship with ACT fits our criteria in this area.
"A strong and knowledgeable local consumables distributor is vital to our future success and I am sure this new relationship will be productive and profitable for both parties," added Hiller. "ACT has a strong relationship with its channel and this was very pertinent in our choice of partner for our supplies distribution."
"We are delighted to be appointed a supplies distributor for the world`s second largest printer company," commented Gary Pickford, sales director for ACT. "Lexmark has a comprehensive range of impact, inkjet and laser printers and we will be associated with supplies distribution across this whole range."
ACT, a company within the MB Technologies group, was formed in December 2001 to cater specifically for the distribution of consumables.
