Lexmark International South Africa introduces the P450 inkjet photo printer. The P450 is the first of its kind with a built in CD burner and direct print capability, incorporating a 2.4-inch LCD screen for easy photo viewing and a digital archiving facility.
Printing directly from your camera or cellphone has never been this easy. With this handy gadget, the photo shop around the corner becomes obsolete. Print your own images directly from your digital camera or cellphone, or burn them onto a CD to save and share with friends and family.
Says Hans Horn, Managing Director of Lexmark South Africa: "Don`t spend a fortune on expensive computer equipment; this new innovation makes way for quick, easy and affordable printing. With the P450, it`s simple to view and edit your photos on the colour LCD screen. Use the on-printer enhancement to remove red-eye, fix colour balance, crop, rotate and enlarge. Apply artistic colour filters like sepia, antique, grey, antique brown and black and white. Make your pictures as individual as you are."
Quality images in an instant
Print images from your camera using PictBridge technology, or choose between memory cards, USB key or CD. Save photos to your P450 and copy them to other media. View your pictures on your television screen. Optional Bluetooth technology allows you to print images wirelessly from camera phones and other Bluetooth-enabled devices. Use your imagination - with the P450 the possibilities are endless.
The Lexmark P450 is the photo printer for the new generation. Horn adds: "The P450 has embraced all of the latest innovations, like Bluetooth and direct print capability. This allows those with their fingers on the pulse of technology to keep up to date with the latest developments. Printing directly from camera phones and camera, without the hassle of computers or shops, is the future of digital photography."
The P450 has an estimated retail price of R1 999, and will be available from Incredible Connection, Game and Dion stores as well as selected retailers. For a limited period as a launch offer, the customer will receive a Belkin Bluetooth adapter with a P450.
