Lexmark International today introduced the Lexmark X8350 Premium Office All-in-One, giving small office/home office (SOHO) customers an easy to use, best-in-class combination of performance, functionality and photo features.
The Lexmark X8350 is the first All-in-One in its class to combine a 2.4-inch colour LCD and photo card slots, offering full photo capabilities along with the ability to print, scan, copy and fax, as well as manage and share colour documents and photos.
"Small and home offices aren`t just about basic documents anymore. They`re about colour, photo and many different printed and digital formats. Lexmark`s new X8350 Premium Office All-in-One delivers innovative and affordable office and photo capabilities that make it easier for SOHO customers to get more done," says Najib Bahous, Lexmark vice-president and president of its Consumer Printer Division.
The Lexmark X8350 demonstrates business-class performance as it leads this class of products with up to 25 pages per minute (ppm) black and 19ppm colour, and an automatic document feeder (ADF) capable of handling a maximum of 50 pages, for hands-free fax and copy.
All this is packaged in a small, compact design. Like other Lexmark printers, the Lexmark X8350 features superior ease of use both in standalone operation and when using a personal computer. Intuitive buttons help simplify and make tasks easier to execute.
The X8350 features Lexmark`s exclusive productivity suite software, making it easy for users to manage a variety of different print and electronic document formats, including creating and searching PDFs and scanning printed documents into editable text.
With the Lexmark X8350, users can print directly from their PC, memory cards, and digital camera using Pictbridge or from a convenient USB flash drive. Users can also easily edit photos directly from the X8350`s colour LCD screen using crop, rotate, colour fix and red-eye removal features along with popular photo effects such as sepia and antique grey.
The Lexmark X8350 is network capable, with optional Ethernet and wireless network adapters, so users have the flexibility to position the printer virtually anywhere in the home or office for access by multiple users.
Pricing and availability
The Lexmark X8350 has an estimated street price of R1 999 (including VAT) and will be available in major retail shops from 6 March.
