Higher productivity and lower costs for enterprise and SMB users Lexmark International has announced the arrival of the Lexmark X422, setting a new standard for workgroup multifunction products (MFPs).
The Lexmark X422 combines high performance and affordability making it ideal for workgroups, branch offices and small and medium-size businesses (SMBs). The Lexmark X422 combines the functions these users need most - printing, copying, faxing and colour scanning - into an affordable, space-saving, easy-to-use product.
For the price of a single-function network printer, the Lexmark X422 is a fully integrated desktop MFP. Unlike more expensive walk-up digital copiers, the Lexmark X422 can be affordably located closer to users to enhance their productivity.

Breakthrough price performance
At the price of a single-function network printer, the Lexmark X422 establishes a new standard in price performance for MFPs. The Lexmark X422 is ready to connect to the network and features an easy-to-use operator panel that can unleash the power of the Lexmark Document Solution Suite (sold separately by certified resellers) to streamline the flow of business information. To save time and reduce costs, the Lexmark X422 prints and copies at up to 21 pages per minute, features a 50-sheet automatic document feeder, Super G3 fax and standard duplexing.
Also available are a high-yield toner cartridge and optional additional paper drawer, both of which can further cut operating costs and enhance productivity. The Lexmark X422 has an estimated street price of R10 625.
