Lexmark International, Inc has introduced the Lexmark X340 monochrome laser all-in-one (AIO) printer series, offering high speeds and powerful performance to improve productivity for small workgroups.
The Lexmark X340 series gives customers the convenience of printing, copying, faxing and scanning through one networked device that can be easily shared by multiple users. Its small footprint makes the device ideal for customers who want fast, multifunction performance where space is at a premium.
The Lexmark X340 series offers print speeds up to 25 pages per minute and is available for an estimated street price of R2 899 (including VAT). For users that anticipate higher print volumes, the Lexmark X342n can also accommodate a high-yield 6 000-page toner cartridge for a lower cost of printing and is available for an estimated street price of R3 399.
The Lexmark X340 series includes business-class PCL 6 emulation, 64MB of standard memory and a high-speed USB 2.0 port to process complex jobs quickly. Robust fax features, such as a 33.6Kbps modem and 10 fax speed dials ensure quick and easy faxing, and a 50-page automatic document feeder is included to help customers save time. The Lexmark X340 series also has an optional 500-sheet drawer that can handle a full ream of most standard papers.
So that most documents can be easily captured electronically, the Lexmark X340 series features legal-size flatbed scanning in both colour and black and white. A professional document management software package is also included to help customers easily organise electronic data and convert scanned documents into PDF files.
