Lexmark International SA today announced the first high-performance inkjet all-in-one for consumers. Sporting a dramatic new look, the X1150 offer up to 4 800 dots per inch (dpi) print resolution, integrated photo editing software and Lexmark`s trademark ease-of-use technology.
This product comes to market as part of Lexmark`s robust 2003 consumer line, which includes photo and single-function printers, and is an easy-to-use imaging tool for novice users looking to unlock their creativity.
"Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the X75, the X1150 is engineered for consumers who want a range of functionality, but don`t want the complexity of a traditional multifunction device," commented Hans Horn, MD of Lexmark International SA. "It is perfect for creative projects as the X1150 integrates four imaging components into one compact solution - printing, copying, scanning (flatbed) and PC-faxing.
"All facets of the X1150 were designed for the greatest ease-of-use," added Horn. "The streamlined front panel, featuring a minimum of buttons, makes executing key tasks simple and quick. With its small footprint, the X1150 fits anywhere a traditional inkjet printer would, and the low profile, slanted design allows for easy accessibility when the user is seated."
The X1150 prints up to 14ppm black and up to 8ppm colour.
