LG Electronics (LGE) will showcase some of the world`s finest products at IFA 2003 (Internationale Funkausstellung), the world`s largest multimedia show. LG Electronics has created an interactive digital hub, featuring its latest product offerings, such as PDPs, LCD TVs and the Digital Home Network System.
LGE has created an innovative showcase to demonstrate the functionality of the home networking system, using actors to interact with the appliances through the home server and mobile phones.
LG is using the IFA show to re-enforce its position as the world`s number one in large LCD products. LG Electronics will showcase the largest product line-up at the show, with screens ranging from 13-inch to the newly unveiled 52-inch LCD panel.
The company will also feature its full PDP range, which boasts the world`s largest, at 71-inches. In particular, it will be the first time the 71-inch PDP will be introduced to the European market. With a thickness of only 89mm, the product is expected to draw much attention. The 71-inch PDP TV also boasts the world`s highest definition, twice that of existing PDPs.
In a show that focuses on the era of ubiquitous networking, LG Electronics is set to unveil its Telematics system. Unlike other automotive navigation systems, LG`s Telematics system features car infotainment that enables Internet and mobile functions in the car, like intelligent navigation for receiving traffic information in real time and entertainment functions, including CD and DVD players.
Add to that, other first to market products such as wireless Home Theatre Systems, TV/DVD/VCR combination units, the world thinnest recordable DVD/ VCR system and their award-winning display technology forum, LG Electronics should once again dominate the show.
