LG Electronics (LGE) SA is offering a value-added reseller (VAR) certification to resellers who purchase one 795FT Plus Flatron monitor from any LG distributor before the end of May this year. Deon Botha, account manager: IT products at LGE SA, explains that authorised resellers will also be automatically enrolled into an incentive giveaway, running until 25 November 2001. "Operating on a point system, VARs will receive one point for sales of our 452V and 552V monitors, five points for selling any 775N or 995E, and ten points apiece for the 795 Flatron, 915 Flatron, 221U, 15-inch LCD or 18-inch LCD screens," he says.
Prizes range from tool kits, pens and T-shirts for one to 499 points, up to a DVD player or 7.2 LT top loader washing machine for more than 3 000 points, and even a 40-inch plasma display monitor for higher than 60 000 points.
A winners` draw is set to take place on 5 December this year.
