Lightedge, a national provider of IT infrastructure solutions and services, has won the Intel Enterprise Reseller Recognition award for 2007.
This title saw Lightedge competing with 20 other Intel enterprise resellers selected out of Intel`s entire registered base of about 1 250 active enterprise resellers in South Africa.
Lightedge emerged as the winner based on the level of its dedication to Intel Enterprise Business during the past year. This involved participating in all of the required training events for server technology, maintaining consistent high standards of technical expertise, and securing the first or second place in revenue ratings every quarter.
"This award underlines our ability to offer enterprises solutions that meets the highest Intel certification standards, in addition to superior consulting services and ongoing support - each adding significant value to our customers," says Steve Dalgarno, General Manager for Lightedge in Gauteng.
"Intel has a number of the most dedicated and technically capable resellers in the local market. Competition, as always, was extremely stiff in this year`s contest, the third year it has been held. Previous winners include Imperial Online and Running Computers," says Frans Pieterse, Intel channel enterprise business development manager for Africa, the Middle East, and Turkey.
Intel handed the trophy to Lightedge at its annual Reseller Appreciation Day on 30 November, hosted at the African Outdoor Group at De Rust.
