One-click installation is a convenient way to install an AXIS 205 for customers having access to the Internet.
One-click installation and AXIS Internet Dynamic DNS Service is free of charge service provided by Axis. It is designed to supply customers with user-friendly static names (DNS names) for their products, instead of IP-numbers, allowing the camera to be viewed through an ADSL Router.
The service is available to everyone having an AXIS 205 connected to a small LAN or a corporate LAN where there are no requirements for a proxy for accessing the Internet or local area network.
When the one-click installation procedure is invoked, the AXIS 205 sends some technical data to the Axis Internet Dynamic DNS Service. (No personal information is transferred.)
