LiveOffice reveals Mail Archive

LiveOffice's recently introduced mail archive service is now available to value-added resellers, reports CNNMoney.com.

The e-mail archiving solution enables resellers to meet their clients' mailbox management, and e-discovery needs without requiring them to deploy and the system on their own.

"With the e-mail explosion and growing interest in SaaS solutions, VARs are looking for ways to simultaneously meet their clients' immediate messaging needs, while also expanding their portfolios to include SaaS solutions," said Matt Camassa, director of business development for LiveOffice.

Siemens changes model

Siemens Enterprise Communications is migrating to a pure distribution model, having previously had both a one- and two-tier approach, writes News Blaze.

The move will allow Siemens to focus on delivering partner support through sales, marketing and support activities, which in turn will allow accredited partners to maximise the value of sales opportunities to their customers.

"Since the highly successful launch of our Go Forward! partner programme, we have been monitoring market developments, particularly in relation to our evolving product portfolio, and also analysed feedback from our partner satisfaction survey." said Leon Mangan, sales director, Indirect Channel, Siemens Enterprise Communications.

Saratoga signs with Maximiser

South Australia-based software distributor Saratoga Distribution has signed on as a national agent for CRM and contact centre software vendor Maximiser, says ARN.

Saratoga director Ivar Stanelis said it had been carrying Maximiser's SoHO product, Enterpreneur, for several years.

The vendor's recent decision to expand its product line and introduce group and professional versions had raised the opportunity to extend its relationship and become a national distributor, he said.
