Logical, the solutions and development arm of JSE-listed Datatec, has become the first Signature Partner and source code partner for Great Plains in Africa, emphasising an already close partnership between the two companies.
Part of a VAR incentive scheme implemented by Great Plains, Signature Partner status is awarded to VARs who are dedicated to the product and have a high level of skill and expertise in Great Plains.
Graham van Zijl, director of solutions at Logical, says that this will enable Logical to further enhance the level of service and support offered to its clients and the quality of the tailored business solutions it offers.
The close association with Great Plains also means that we have access to information on technical and functional direction in the evolution of the products, and are able to pass this knowledge on to our customers, he adds.
Logical has been a Premier Great Plains VAR for several years and is focused on providing value-added solutions for its customers.
Franca Cardillo, channel manager at Great Plains Africa, says that Logicals hard work, superior skill and commitment to Great Plains will see the company move from strength to strength.
