Logikal Consulting, an IBM premier partner, has scooped the coveted IBM Software Partner of the Year award for 2013. The accolade recognises partner performance across IBM's software solutions portfolio.
Logikal provides a broad range of IT consulting, systems implementation and application outsourcing services through an optimised global delivery model. The award is given to an organisation that has skills and experience, a dedication to excellence, and a strong focus on customer success.
Gerald Naidoo, CEO of Logikal Consulting, says he is thrilled with the award, and adds that Logikal has years of experience and expertise. "This prize is a big reward for our efforts and confirms that our partnership with IBM provides value to both parties."
Naidoo also praised the contributions of Logikal's sales, delivery and support teams. "The teams have worked well with IBM and it is largely due to their high level of commitment and success that IBM has honoured us with this accolade."
First Distribution, Logikal's IBM Software value added distributor, presented the award on behalf of IBM at the IBM Software Channel Event in Johannesburg in January. Tony Abrahall, General Manager for First Distribution, says he has been really impressed with Logikal's rapid growth. "Within the space of a year Logikal has risen from out of nowhere to become IBM's top software partner in terms of revenue. This is really an outstanding achievement and it just shows what the right focus and commitment can achieve. Logikal identified the high growth areas and made the necessary investment in skills. Based on an excellent understanding of its customers, it was very quickly able to deliver the best IBM solutions to meet customers' requirements."
The award follows a fantastic year for Logikal, which has grown not only its revenues, but its client base over the course of the year. "Logikal's skilled and experienced employees, and our ability to understand client needs and build strong relationships with them, have been a huge factor in Logikal's tremendous success in 2013," adds Naidoo.
