Logitech`s new Dual Action Pad, now available from official distributor Rectron, offers South African gamers a new level of precision-control gaming.
The Dual Action Pad features two analogue joysticks with digital buttons and 360-degree action functionality.
"Logitech`s Dual Action Pad raises the bar on each individual gaming experience, offering 17 programmable buttons that include four triggers as well as a precise eight-way d-pad," comments Adel'e Oosthuizen, business manager: PC attachments at Rectron.
The Action Pad is bundled with Logitech`s Profiler Software, which enables gamers to customise button functionality and force-feedback effects.
The software includes profiles for hundreds of popular games, helping players to set-up their controllers to a game`s specific requirements.
"The Pad`s ultra-comfortable grip also enables gamers to play for hours. And as it is a plug-and-play, they can start playing immediately," she says.
The Dual Action Pad system requirements include a PC with Pentium processor or compatible, Windows 98, 2000, ME or XP, 64 MB RAM, CD-Rom drive and UBS port. For Macintosh, players need a USB port and MAC OS 9 or higher.
