LOOPHOLD Security Distribution has been appointed as the only authorised SonicWALL training partner (ATP) for South Africa, offering instructor-led courses as part of the SonicWALL technical certification curriculum.
The courses, which are hosted at LOOPHOLD's offices in Bryanston, Johannesburg, have been designed to provide resellers and clients with the key security technology fundamentals, together with SonicWALL's design, configuration, implementation and troubleshooting topics.

Key to the success of these products is the ability to effectively implement and utilise, which is why training courses are a must for all partners and end-users," Martin Tassev, MD of LOOPHOLD said. "This knowledge transfer will provide our resellers and customers with an edge."
The SonicWALL courses include Network Security Essentials Administrator (NSEA) training: a two-day course that provides students the required background, knowledge and experience to design, implement and troubleshoot SonicWALL security appliances running SonicOS Enhanced firmware.
This course covers deployment and configuration of the SonicOS Enhanced firmware too. Importantly, attendees become technically familiar with a wide spectrum of security technologies such as unified threat management (UTM), single sign on, VPN, secure wireless and content filtering.
In addition to gaining the necessary knowledge on SonicOS Enhanced, students also learn how to validate settings and to use troubleshooting techniques with the company's diagnostic tools.
Following successful completion of a course and associated certificate exam, candidates become Certified SonicWALL System Administrators (CSSA).
Bolstering the instructor-led courses, South African SonicWALL partners and customers can also access various eLearning courses through MySonicWALL.com.
