Lorge launches empowerment ACCPAC dealership venture

The largest ACCPAC accounting software dealer and consultancy, Lorge Consulting, a Softline company, has launched a new company, ACCsolve, to promote empowerment in SA in the field of ACCPAC financial and business software solutions.

ACCsolve managing director Beryl van der Sandt, who has more than 22 years of experience in the accounting solutions consultancy field, says she is passionate about empowerment and that the company will be targeting the top 200 empowerment companies in SA.

"Our goal is to create opportunities for people of colour to succeed in this exciting growth market and with the backing of a strong, internationally active listed company in Softline, and the consulting resources and experience of Lorge Consulting behind us, I am confident that we shall quickly gain market share."

Van der Sandt adds that an ACCPAC certified consulting course, a formal three-level certificated training programme covering database, system management, reporting, financial and operating requirements has been established, from which ACCsolve will be able to draw qualified consultants.

"A staff complement and infrastructure is already in place for us to provide the required professional financial and accounting solutions to empowerment SMEs and large corporates. The training programme is an integral part of empowerment and will ensure that we have ongoing access to suitably qualified people as the business grows.

"My vision is to have SA's empowerment companies think ACCsolve whenever they require solutions or services related to ACCPAC accounting and financial management software systems. Our aim is to ensure that financial departments and top management always have the right information at the right time in order to run the business most effectively and efficiently."
