Launched by Lotus Professional Services, EasyWeb helps companies to plan, create and a Website, opening their business to the virtual community of public and private sectors.

"EasyWeb provides a suite of applications for communication (Web-mail), information (bulletin boards, texts, documents), discussion (forums), continued (distance learning) and access to other interactive applications (links to central systems)," says Lesego Tlhabanelo, marketing communications manager at Lotus Development SA.

The application is also a powerful search engine that acts on downloadable contents (Word, other document formats) and retrieves the information needed reliably and quickly.

Without programming, developers can define the EasyWeb structure by simply listing the areas and services they need, then enter the navigation aids and the required contents and graphic objects (buttons, designs, backgrounds). "The contents can be directly entered in Notes, Word, HTML or imported as is in any format," he adds.

They are then processed in the editing-approval-publishing cycle to check them before their release for publication.

EasyWeb is based on industry standards that ensure easy and economical Website construction and management.
