Mthombo IT Services (M-IT) and The National Empowerment Fund (NEF), the recently launched R2 billion BEE National Fund, have partnered in an agreement encompassing M-IT`s Managed Services package.
M-IT has embarked on a holistic strategy whereby the existing service offerings will be extended to incorporate additional Managed Service offerings, such as the service desk, desktop support, back-office support and asset management of their installed base, as well as dedicated proactive account management.
This partnership officially launches M-IT into the second Managed Services contract after the R300 million three-year SARS contract, which was awarded to the AMC consortium in July 2003. This is an area that M-IT sees as its growth potential going forward.
M-IT`s focus is to take its policy of "service excellence" to the next level - to that of "customer intimacy".
