Madge Networks recently launched a unique global service provider business, which offers managed network services to more than 35 countries worldwide. The services range from mission-critical voice networking and managed private data networking, to premium service Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and complex web hosting.
Madge`s Managed Network Services (MNS) are aimed at enterprises with a strong international presence, operating mission-critical networks, particularly in the financial, transport and retail sectors. MNS is intended to provide a flexible migration path towards Internet Protocol (IP) networking, which delivers an immediate ability to evaluate and implement Virtual Private Networks, and to establish highly-secure, state-of-the-art Internet and Intranet web sites.
And what of MNS being rolled out in South Africa in the near future? MNS incorporates the most comprehensive Service Level Agreements in the industry today, supporting enterprises` national and multi-national networking needs. Madge`s MNS is backed by Madge`s global network (Madge net), which now extends to over 35 countries, with more than 70 points of presence.
MNS comprises a full suite of services and is extremely flexible, offering a tailor-made solution to each client.
MNS provides Complex Web Hosting, a highly efficient, cost effective solution that allows organizations to exploit the latest Web technologies for business benefit, while reducing infrastructure and management costs.
The MNS product suite also includes a comprehensive range of services that can be fully tailored to secure data against unauthorized access and to ensure that staff can only access authorized resources. Together with these Managed Security Services, Circuit Management Services are provided to manage private data networks.
The suite is completed by Remote Corporate Access and Virtual Private Networks, which provide a fully managed, high speed dial up access to corporate network resources and the Internet, in addition to a range of highly efficient, enterprise networks that support a wide variety of business processes, including information access, application sharing, communications and collaborative working.
