Nortel Networks has been chosen by Madge Networks, a global network solutions provider, as their networking vendor for the continued rollout of their global managed services infrastructure.
This move follows Nortel Networks` successful implementation of its Unified Networks solutions for Madge`s IP/ATM based global network over the last ten months. This enables the service provider to combine voice and data networks in a single infrastructure to deliver high quality, high performance services such as managed private data networking, enhanced remote access, premium VPN`s and complex web hosting to customers around the world.
Nortel Networks has supplied their Passport and CVX 1800 solutions, as well as providing and co-ordinating local resources to support the aggressive deployment of Madge`s international IP service. As Madge continues to expand their network infrastructure across the globe, Nortel Networks will provide them with the same solutions and high standards of support.
