Madge Networks demonstrated its latest High Speed Token Ring (HSTR), Token Ring and ATM products, as well as the Token Ring version of its Madge LAN Video Gateway switch at NetWorld+Interop Atlanta.
Madge exhibited its complete range of HSTR products and demonstrate 100Mbps connectivity on its Smart Ringswitch backbone Token Ring switches, highlighting how Madge is meeting Token Ring customer needs for scalable networks at an affordable price.
Visitors saw Token Ring switching to the desktop in action with Madge`s new Smart DeskStream Token Ring switch, demonstrating improved network productivity, manageability and security. Other product highlights at the booth included Madge`s Smart 16/4 PCI Ringnode WoL adapter, the Smart Ringswitch Token Ring switch range and the recently announced Collage 750 ATM Backbone switch.
At the booth, Madge also demonstrated LAN/WAN videoconferencing with the Madge LAN Video Gateway (LVG) and Madge WAN AccessSwitch ranges, focusing on how companies can achieve increased productivity while controlling operating and access costs. Visitors had a chance to see video conferencing distributed over Token Ring, Ethernet and ISDN, demonstrating compatibility with corporate local area and wide area networks.
