Makro has signed a deal with local distributor Mustek to sell the Brother range of printers at all its South African stores.
The initial agreement is over a 12-month period and includes three inkjet multifunction printers, one being an A3 model, two multifunction colour laser printers, a four-in-one laser printer, and two single-function mono laser models.
Dale de Villiers, sales and marketing manager, Brother International SA, says this deal not only gives consumers easy access to Brother products, but there is also the added benefit of being able to get printing consumables beyond normal trading hours because of Makro's extended trading hours.
Mustek supports all the Brother printers available at Makro directly on either a carry-in or on-site basis.
“Having excelled in the government and corporate sectors in SA, we are very excited to make the printers available to the local retail market, where we know they will do well,” says Paul Norris, Brother product manager at Mustek.
