ManageSoft upgrades software

ManageSoft, a provider of desktop to centre software asset management solutions, released its new enterprise manager (ECM) version 8.0 software, according to MarketWatch.

This new edition will enable enterprises to achieve up to seven figure savings on their IT spend within 90 days of implementing ECM, says the company.

Aggregate savings comes from three areas of concentration: reducing new software purchases, squeezing maintenance renewal; and before audits.

Roundtable tours France

Emptoris, a provider of enterprise supply and contract management software, and Accenture, are joining with EBG to host a series of roundtable discussions across France, on key procurement and supply management issues, reports MarketWatch.

The roundtable series will include at least eight sessions in France over the next nine months.

These will feature an interactive panel discussion among a view chief procurement officers from leading French and global companies.

ERDAS contracts more manageable

Morris, Manning & Martin recently used its new contract management system to help Atlanta-based ERDAS, formerly known as Leica Geosystems Geospatial Imaging, make its contracts more manageable, accessible, efficient and effective, according to MarketWatch.

ERDAS is an international geospatial information company with thousands of contracts, with various renewal dates for a wide range of services.

The team from Morris, Manning & Martin reviewed and inventoried every single contract, suggesting ways to improve future negotiation and organisation.
