
Manthan eyes business
Business intelligence and analytics product firm Manthan Systems is scouting for strategic acquisitions overseas to expand into new geographies and maintain growth, states Sify.
“We are looking at collaborating and acquiring organisations in the retail BI space to help us leverage our abilities to create better products and reach a wider audience worldwide,' says Manthan founder and chief executive Atul Jalan.
The six-year-old firm has developed a unique software product, branded 'ARC', for retail business intelligence and finance analytics, and rolled out its sixth version (ARC 6.0) last year when the IT industry took a beating in the wake of the global financial crisis and subsequent recession.
Retail Pro selects RBS WorldPay
Retail Pro International has selected RBS WorldPay as its preferred electronic payments processor, writes PR Newswire.
In addition to delivering Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) processing choices for Retail Pro merchants, RBS WorldPay also provided improved pricing for Retail Pro's high performance payment interface.
Retail Pro CEO Kerry Lemos says: “Along with our new high performance PA-DSS/PCI compliant integrated payment platform and reduced interface costs, we can offer a lower cost of ownership and operation, as well as flexible payment services choices."
Posiflex to offer POS
Posiflex Technologies, a Taiwan-based maker of own-brand point of sale/service (POS) equipment and devices, will unveil a new product line, reports Digi Times.
This will be a platform integrating hardware, software and firmware for various applications - by the fourth quarter of 2010, as it seeks to avoid the pricing game in the POS market, according to the company.
Posiflex has obtained many orders for POS products, with some shipments scheduled for as far as June 2010, the company indicated.
