Marconi`s ATM backbone switches have been used to construct a high-speed, multimedia communications network for SuperNet, the first Korean ISP to deliver live video broadcast over the Internet.
The decision to use Marconi`s infrastructure was based on its performance in extensive benchmark testing conducted by SuperNet.
The Marconi ASX-1000 switches have created a national backbone which connects Seoul with all the other major cities in the country. SuperNet will use this advanced high-speed network to supply live video content over the Internet.
