Maximizer Software strengthens MEA channel with two appointments

Maximizer Software, the world`s largest developer of CRM (customer relationship management) and Internet business solutions, has announced that Rudaina Mustafa has been appointed as senior account manager, and Prenthan Naicker has been appointed as sales engineer, both for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) channel region.

These appointments are spearheading a drive by Maximizer to provide greater focus on the MEA channel, primarily to boost channel reach into these two key areas. Maximizer Software has a pure channel strategy, and with these new appointments as a stepping-stone, Maximizer is looking to improve its existing channel and also expand it through new business partner signings, allowing greater focus on specific verticals and customer bases.

Mustafa`s previous employment included a position as IT sales manager with Gulf Commercial Group and project manager with Future Soft, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Since joining Maximizer Software as partner account manager for the Middle East, just over a year ago, Mustafa has significantly grown the business through the appointment of additional high-profile business partners with high integrity, as well as intensifying the day to day working relationship with the existing business partners.

"Our focus is, and will continue to be, the development and expansion of this market, both regionally and vertically, which will ensure growth through increased market penetration and share," comments Mustafa. "This is an exciting opportunity for me and Maximizer, as we are enjoying continued growth in these rapidly developing markets. The solutions we provide will help to improve customer relations for many businesses within these regions, as CRM is gaining more mainstream acceptance as a critical business tool," continues Mustafa. "I foresee us expanding our channel of business partners within Sub-Saharan Africa, and especially in SA, where CRM has proven to be a tremendous success."

As the new sales engineer for the MEA region, Naicker will be responsible for business partner training and pre-sales support. Naicker will therefore be working closely with the current and new Maximizer business partners, further bolstering the company`s already strong channel strategy.

"The market for CRM in SA is rapidly changing," says Tricia Gregory, channel development manager for the EMEA region. "Three years ago we were talking about CRM in SA as a concept; today we have some very sophisticated approaches to the search, delivery and implementation of CRM solutions in the region. We are therefore expanding our team in SA to help deliver CRM solutions to a now discerning market," concludes Gregory.
