Maxxor announces release of Onsight, a B2B mobile sales app

Maxxor is proud to announce the release of Onsight, a business-to-business mobile sales catalogue app for use by sales managers and their sales reps. It is available for download from the Apple app store and is currently optimised for use on the iPad platform.

The Onsight mobile sales app is the first enterprise mobile app to be released by Maxxor, a company with considerable previous experience in building consumer mobile apps. The app is free for a single user with all features activated. Thereafter, the app is charged at a competitive per user monthly subscription fee.

According to Adrian Frielinghaus, Maxxor's director of product development: "Companies will save money when implementing the Onsight sales app because it is cheaper than buying or building specialised software for their sales reps, and little to no training is needed for it to be put into use."

Frielinghaus further says the iPad was chosen as the first platform to release the app on because a large number of companies are already making use of this technology. He mentions that there seems to be steady growth in the iPad user market of nearly 150% a year, with one company recently acquiring 1 300 of these tablets to enable its sales force's mobility. "These facts do not, however, mean that iPad is the only platform that matters. We will be releasing Windows 8 and Android versions of Onsight later this year to ensure that companies can use any of the leading tablet platforms to enable their sales forces," says Frielinghaus.

Onsight's main feature is to provide an easy-to-use mobile catalogue that can be created by uploading high-quality product images by the company's product managers. Any changes to the product pricing and details are synchronised via the cloud to all user devices.

Frielinghaus explains: "The sales ordering and quotation processes that salespeople go through when trying to close a sales deal can be streamlined with the use of the Onsight mobile sales app. This app eliminates the need for printed paper catalogues and paper sales orders that are usually time-consuming, paper-wasting and often outdated. Onsight has received enormously positive feedback from its first users so far. The easy manner in which the mobile catalogue can be updated, the reduction of paperwork and the quicker order processing has greatly improved the lives of sales teams and led to better customer satisfaction."

Maxxor believes that by investing in the creation of the Onsight mobile sales tool, it has the opportunity to make the sales process easier, more efficient, less paper-wasting and more organised for manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors everywhere. All of these things will allow these companies to focus more on the sale itself and not the paperwork behind the sale.
