The new company, to be officially launched at Comdex, to be held at Gallagher Estate on 3 - 6 October, was formed after the amalgamation of three MB Worksoft member companies, n-Time, Three D and e-Connect.
The new company, which is charged with taking advantage of market opportunities for full-spectrum networking and infrastructure systems solutions - as well as leveraging off and bolstering the group`s existing capabilities in e-business enabling - is to be headed by Bob Dippenaar, who has extensive experience in the South African IT industry.
Dippenaar said the new company aims to be recognised as one of the top three networking technology integrators in the local IT market within three years.
MB Worksoft Networking, benefits immediately from the "deep intellectual capital residing with staff and management at n-Time, Three D and e-Connect". The new company`s key focus is "to supply business-based solutions and services, focused on the global interchange of information, including voice, video and data in a structured and professional manner"
"We believe Comdex is the perfect platform for our official launch. Comdex is expected to become a premier event in this country; it is primarily aimed at the business decision makers in the industry - and this is exactly our target market," said Dippenaar.

"While part of this initiative sees the consolidation of three member companies into one, enlarged, but focused, networking company, there will be no consolidation of staff. On the contrary, we are looking to actively seek additional members to ensure that we are able to meet our robust growth projections."
Dippenaar said growth would initially be organic, although the company would consider acquisitions "where appropriate". "MB Worksoft Networking has the full backing of the board at MB Technologies - and considerable funding has been made available. This is a major group initiative."
He said while the bulk of the revenue would, during the next 12 - 24 months, come from SA, the company was looking to expand into Southern Africa, including Botswana and Namibia.
