MBW Networking well-poised to provide network solutions

Johannesburg, 04 Oct 2000

Newly established MBW is well-poised to become a formidable player in the provision of solutions and, as MD Bob Dippenaar asserts, is already well on its way to joining the ranks of the top South African networking integrator companies.

"By consolidating the diverse resources and expertise of the three original business entities n-Time, 3D and e-connect, we have forged a company that ranks as a strong contender in the local networking integration market," says Dippenaar.

The company`s business-based product offering focuses on the global interchange of information, which includes , video and data. Its solutions cover the full spectrum of networking and are also perfectly positioned to meet the demands of the emerging e-business model.

A strong management team, each of whom brings an integral set of skills to the table, complements the solutions offered by MBW Networking. "This enhances synergy within the organisation, and enables us to go forward with a team who are all experts in their specific fields," says Dippenaar.

Central to MBW Networking`s offering is its customer engagement model, which encompasses sales, business development, business and technology consulting, product development, support and maintenance. "Imperative to this model is the customer," Dippenaar stresses, "who remains the focal point throughout the cycle."

To meet its mission objectives, the company has embarked on an aggressive sales drive, headed by sales director Clive Wilmot. "While we fully intend to address new markets, we naturally also need to capitalise on the environments where we already enjoy an established presence," he says. "Consequently, we will be building a sales force made up of people who are firmly entrenched in government, NGO and corporate circles."

Business development director, Henk Roets firmly believes in MBW Networking`s ability to meet the technology requirements of the new economy. "Our product suites - particularly e-centre and e-connect - are exactly in line with e-business infrastructure," he says. "Our integrated approach to customers` business processes are specifically geared to enhancing their efficiency and effectiveness, thereby improving their bottom line."

The Professional Services division is made up of a technically skilled team of business consultants, product developers and project managers. "We manage the implementation and maintenance of a solution, ensuring professional and structured end-to-end service delivery throughout," says technical director Francois Vetter.

To ensure its customers receive ongoing superior levels of service, MBW Networking forges strategic partnerships with leading vendors and service providers. "These partnerships enable to provide services in non-specialist areas, and form an integral part of our integrated solution offering," explains strategic relationships director Guy Venter.

Additionally, MBW Networking is passionately committed to South Africa`s empowerment program. "We view empowerment as key to our business process, in that it enables us to address South Africa`s changing market conditions," Venter continues, adding that the company is currently negotiating a strategic partnership with a black-owned, managed and staffed IT company. "Our objective is to acquire a strategic stake and become very involved with skills transfer and jointly exploiting opportunities," he says.

"The establishment of MBW Networking has provided the customer with an alternative choice in the provision of networking solutions - one who is more than capable of addressing their needs." Dippenaar concludes.

MB Worksoft Networking is a member company of MB Worksoft, the software and services division of MB Technologies.
