ICT security vendor, McAfee has enhanced its Cloud Security Platform.
The vendor adds that the platform can be deployed as an on-premise appliance, software as a service (SaaS), or a hybrid combination.
Marc Olesen, senior VP and GM, content and cloud security at McAfee, says businesses frequently cite the potential for data loss as the number one reason for holding back on the implementation of cloud computing solutions. He says the added capabilities address this concern.
The McAfee Cloud Security Platform includes the following security modules: McAfee Cloud Identity Manager, McAfee Data Loss Prevention, McAfee E-mail Gateway version 7.0, McAfee SaaS E-mail Protection, and McAfee Services Gateway.
According to the company, the McAfee Cloud Security Platform enhancements provide improved integration into the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator platform, which is now available for McAfee Services Gateway, providing monitoring and security event visibility for Web services.
