Mercedes Document Services, (MDS), the sub-Saharan distributor of Ultimus Inc and Hummingbird Inc, has announced the availability of the Ultimus/DOCS OPEN/PowerDOCS Integration Module.
The module integrates the dynamic, flexible Ultimus Administrative Workflow application with the world renowned DOCS OPEN suite of Document Management software. The new product allows documents managed in a Document Management library to be attached to the Workflow process and follow the defined sequence of steps in the process. The module also further provides for searching, viewing, editing of documents as well as maintaining the tight security and audit trails provided by the Document Management system.
The creation of this product now allows existing DOCS OPEN customers to leverage the benefits of Document Management with the automation of workflow processes. Existing Ultimus customers are able to manage processes without losing control over the documents that typically drive the business process in the first place.
MDS has created numerous add-on products for both Ultimus Workflow and DOCS OPEN applications providing customers with enhanced functionality and control.
