Meissner has announced a new partnership with Invensys Power Systems that will see it operating as its sole distributor for the whole of sub-Saharan Africa.
"This partnership ensures our customers will have the power protection solutions and services they require on a 24x7 basis to protect mission-critical data," says Graham Beyleveld, sales director, Meissner products.
"Partnering with a global solutions provider such as Invensys Power Systems allows us to deliver a range of power protection solutions from both the Best Power and Powerware range to fit the diverse needs of our customers."
"The partnership benefits Invensys Power Systems in South Africa by boosting the visibility of the products through Meissner`s five branches spread across the country supported by a team of dedicated field engineers," says Gary Jameson, international sales manager, Invensys Power Systems.
In addition, Meissner has recently been integrated into a substantive NEI Africa C&I division. This C&I division joins Meissner with CHI Control, suppliers and manufacturers of electrical motor control systems and automation solutions. Their combined resources will market Invensys UPS solutions as an integral section of their portfolio, in an effort to develop further growth, and offer the market a better solution.
"Meissner is by far the biggest UPS specialist distributor in the country. The association with CHI Control means Invensys Power Systems has the added bonus of reaching an even larger and more specialised market," adds Jameson.
